With the ov-chipkaart you can use all kind of public transport. To increase the ease of use Technolution has developed a system that allows users of the ov-chipkaart  to see, at home and with an app on their phone , what their balance is and whether they are checked in. Obviously, the system is protected against unauthorized loading of balance or products and there is a good balance between security and performance of the system.
